What the fake teams call is
The palette does the work here. A dark grey interface with a purple accent reads as Teams to anyone who spends their working day in it, without any logo being needed.
It is a specific kind of useful on an open-plan desk: a screen that says, unambiguously, that now is not the moment.
- Signalling that you are in a meeting on a shared or visible screen
- A prop call for a screenshot or a presentation
- A joke for a team that spends too long in calls
Fake Teams meeting screen, no login
Nothing is connected to and no permission is requested. The page cannot access a camera, a microphone or an account, because it never asks.
Adjust the participant count for a one-to-one or a full team call; the setting is kept in the URL.
How to run it, and how to stop it
Press F for fullscreen, then F11 to hide the browser’s own toolbars. That second step is the one that matters: an address bar sitting above the screen gives the whole thing away instantly.
To end it: Escape leaves fullscreen, F11 brings the toolbars back, and closing the tab removes it entirely. Nothing is installed, no file is written and no setting is changed, so there is nothing to undo afterwards.
Worth saying plainly — use this on people who will find it funny, and on machines you are allowed to touch. Show them the way out once the joke has landed.
