The short version
The site is a set of static pages. It does not ask for your name, your email or any other personal detail, and it has no database to put them in. Everything a screen does — the colour you pick, the timer you set, the text you type into a fake update screen — happens on your own device and is never transmitted.
Third parties are a different matter. Advertising and analytics providers set their own cookies and receive their own data, and that is described in full further down.
What the site itself stores
- Your theme choice. Whether you picked light or dark mode is saved in your browser’s local storage under the key "theme". It never leaves your device and exists only so the site does not flash the wrong colour on your next visit.
- Screen settings, in the URL. Options like a hex colour, a countdown length or a speed slider are written into the address bar as query parameters. That is what makes a configured screen shareable as a link. Nothing is stored server-side; if you close the tab without copying the URL, the setting is gone.
- Nothing else. No account, no profile, no contact details, no uploaded files, and no record of which screens you opened.
Clearing your browser's site data for this domain erases everything the site has kept about you, because local storage is all there is.
Advertising
This site is supported by advertising and uses Google AdSense.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or to other websites.
- Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
- You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google’s Ads Settings.
- You can opt out of a third-party vendor’s use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info, or for European users at youronlinechoices.eu.
- Third-party vendors and ad networks that serve ads on this site may place and read their own cookies or use web beacons. This site does not control those cookies and cannot read them.

Visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland are shown a consent notice before any non-essential advertising cookie is set, and personalised advertising is used only where consent has been given. You can change or withdraw that choice at any time through the same notice.
Analytics
Google Analytics is used to count visits and see which pages people actually use. It records things like the page you viewed, the approximate region you came from, your device type and browser, and how you arrived. IP addresses are anonymised by Google before storage.
This is aggregate traffic measurement, not tracking of individuals — the site has no way to connect any of it to a person, because it never learns who you are. You can block it entirely with Google's opt-out browser add-on or any content blocker, and the site works exactly the same either way.
Hosting
The site is served by Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes request data — IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp — to deliver pages and to protect the site from attack and abuse. This is standard server logging done by the host, not something this site collects or has access to. See the Cloudflare privacy policy.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, the UK GDPR, the CCPA and comparable laws you have rights to access, correct, delete and port your personal data, and to object to its processing. This site holds no personal data about you, so in practice there is nothing here to hand over or erase — but requests about the advertising and analytics data described above are welcome, and where the answer is "that data sits with Google, not with us" you will be told exactly that and pointed at the right controls.

Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any information from them. If you believe a child has provided personal information through this site, contact the address above and it will be removed.
Other sites
Pages here link out to other websites, and adverts link to advertisers. Once you follow one of those links you are on someone else's site under someone else's policy, and this one no longer applies.
Changes
This policy is updated when what the site does changes. The date at the top is the last revision. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the current version.
