What a peach screen is used for
- Very soft warm fill light for video calls
- Warm off-white backgrounds for photography
- A gentler alternative to a white screen at night
Peach screen online: #FFE5B4 at full screen
Peach is white pulled towards orange: red at maximum, green high, blue held well back. Because it stays bright, it works as a light rather than only as a colour, and the warmth it adds is subtle enough to read as lamplight rather than as a filter.
It sits between beige and coral in effect — warmer and more colourful than beige, far gentler than coral. For webcam fill in a room lit by cool LEDs, it is often the most natural-looking of the three.
How to get a full screen peach background
Press the fullscreen button on the player above, or the F key. Escape returns you to the page. On a desktop browser F11 does the same job and hides the browser's own toolbars as well.
The colour box is a control, not a picture: use the hex field to enter any value, pick another shade from the palette, or download the current colour as a PNG at your screen's resolution. Whatever you set is written into the address bar, so the link you copy reproduces exactly what you are looking at.
